A couple of things that I like about it: first, you can have additional font folders. At my work, I’m shackled to Suitcase Fusion 3 and auto activation comes in very handy only because Fusion doesn’t keep your fonts activated. For example, in my small organization, we have a folder on Dropbox for the fonts of our organization, and I can tell Typeface to look in that folder for activating fonts. It has a permanently active feature, which would make me a lot less reliant on auto-activationif only it worked, which it doesn’t. Suitcase Fusion lets you organize your fonts into sets for activation, and it has tools to find corrupt and duplicate fonts.
It is also very easy to integrate the fonts in your software.Similarly, you can sync the entire Google Fonts collection. Second thing I like is the auto-activation of fonts. It doesn't always work perfectly, but it usually does work.
